Today on Design Cubicle I found a great post on 10 Common Typography Mistakes.  The posting is kind of funny to as it really has 10 with a bonus 11th thrown in for good measure.

To summarize though, here are the top 1o…er 11.

1. Not enough leading
2. Not enough tracking
3. Getting tracking confused with kerning
4. Lengthy lines of text
5. Mixing too many typefaces and weights
6. Not using serifs for lengthy-text material
7. Printing similar values of color on top of each other
8. Reversed out text on less than 50% tints
9. Overusing centered text
10. Large body copy
11. Not knowing what the Grid System is
